RANKARA is a GEO and SEO intelligence platform for local and enterprise businesses. GEO — Generative Engine Optimization — is the practice of building authority with AI platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini so they recommend your business when customers ask.
Every Monday RANKARA runs a complete audit across 40+ intelligence signals, generates 26 pieces of content and strategy, tracks your AI citations across 19 platforms, and delivers a full intelligence brief. Clients get a live dashboard at app.rankara.net that updates every day — not a static report delivered once a week.
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization — the practice of building the authority and content signals that cause AI platforms to recommend your business in their answers.
When a customer asks ChatGPT "who is the best plumber near me" or asks Perplexity "what dentist should I see in Cape Coral," those platforms give specific recommendations. If your business is not in that answer, you do not get the call. GEO is how you get in the answer.
RANKARA tracks citations across 19 AI platforms — including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and more — and builds the content, entity authority, and citation signals to improve your position week over week.
A traditional SEO agency optimizes for Google and produces monthly reports you have to act on yourself. RANKARA adds the GEO layer — AI citation tracking and optimization — that no traditional agency offers.
More importantly, RANKARA treats GEO and SEO as one integrated system: AI citations drive branded searches that improve Google rankings, which increases AI citation probability. That compounding loop is what RANKARA measures and builds — the unified GEO + SEO channel status is tracked and reported every week.
RANKARA also runs a closed-loop intelligence cycle: content is generated, implementation is verified daily, performance is measured for every piece published, and insights feed back into next week's recommendations. It gets smarter for your specific business over time.
Every Monday by 7am, every client receives 26 deliverables:
Content: Blog post (dual-channel — targets a citation gap and a Google keyword simultaneously), 10 FAQ entries with FAQPage schema markup, 3 GBP posts, review response templates for any new reviews, video scripts.
SEO: 3 meta title variants with recommended starting variant, schema markup (pre-validated), link building plan with a specific weekly action, directory submission plan prioritized by AI citation impact, page content recommendations, internal linking plan, technical SEO fix brief, E-E-A-T audit.
GEO: Wikidata entry, GBP photo strategy, platform presence check, AI accuracy report, citation trajectory.
Strategy: 90-day content calendar, 6-month roadmap, competitor analysis, 90-day projection, weekly priority tasks, education module, unified GEO + SEO strategy brief, Unified Local Authority Score.
The Unified Local Authority Score is a single 0–100 number that captures how dominant your business is across all local discovery channels simultaneously: AI citations across 19 platforms, local pack position, review velocity, branded search momentum, and voice and discovery coverage.
It replaces the question of "what is my SEO score and what is my GEO score" with a single answer: how dominant am I in my local market? The score also tracks which of the five components are reinforcing each other — because AI citations drive branded searches that improve local pack rankings, which increases AI citation probability.
Every RANKARA client gets a personal dashboard at app.rankara.net/results/[your-id] that updates every day — not just on Mondays. It has 9 tabs:
This Week — priority tasks with full instructions, time estimates, and links to the generated content. Tasks are auto-verified daily so you always see current completion status.
Content — all generated content ready to copy: blog post, FAQ entries, GBP posts, and meta title variants.
Deliverables — all 26 weekly deliverables in one place.
Roadmap — 90-day content calendar and 6-month milestone plan.
Intelligence — win predictions, keyword velocity, channel status, content attribution, and RANKARA's learnings for your business.
Reports — full content archive searchable by week, type, and outcome.
Elite ✦ — scenario leaderboard, win probability, and difficulty scoring (Elite add-on).
Reputation, History — review tracking and score trajectory charts.
Every day, RANKARA automatically checks whether last week's recommended tasks have been completed — by verifying your site directly, checking platform APIs, and reviewing confirmation signals. Schema added, blog published, meta updated, platforms claimed — all checked automatically.
Completed tasks update to verified status on your dashboard in real time. Unimplemented items carry forward with their context so nothing falls through the cracks. You can see at a glance what is done, what is pending, and what is overdue — without manually tracking anything.
Every piece of content RANKARA generates is tracked for citation impact after it is published. RANKARA measures your citation count before and after the content goes live and assigns an outcome verdict: Working (citations increased and the target scenario moved), No impact (no change after 4+ weeks), or Too early (fewer than 2 weeks since publishing).
You can see this attribution data in the Reports tab — search by week, content type, or outcome. Click any piece to see what it was targeting, how it performed, and RANKARA's recommendation on whether to republish, update, or leave it as is.
The learning engine extracts insights from what is working for your specific business — which content types are producing citations, which scenarios are easiest to win, which keywords are moving. These insights are stored as client learnings and injected into every subsequent week's content generation and recommendations.
This means RANKARA gets progressively smarter for your business over time. A client in week 20 is receiving recommendations informed by 20 weeks of what has actually worked for them — not generic best practices.
RANKARA tracks citations across 19 AI platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, Apple Intelligence, Bing AI, You.com, Brave Leo, and more. Every week RANKARA checks whether each platform cites your business when customers ask questions relevant to your service area — and tracks the specific scenario language that triggers a citation.
Most clients see their first citation wins within 4–8 weeks. The timeline depends on your starting authority, how competitive your market is, and how quickly the content is published. The Intelligence tab in your dashboard shows win predictions for the next 4 weeks — the scenarios RANKARA predicts you are closest to winning based on content published and competitor strength.
The compounding effect becomes significant around week 12–16. Early weeks build the entity authority and content foundation. Later weeks produce citation wins at an accelerating rate as each piece compounds on the last.
RANKARA discovers specific AI search queries relevant to your business — the exact questions people ask AI platforms when looking for what you offer in your area. 277 scenarios are typically discovered for a client. 20 are actively tracked at any time — the ones with the highest opportunity score and lowest competition.
The 20 active scenarios rotate as scenarios are won or demoted. Each week's content is targeted at the most winnable uncited scenarios in your active library. The Elite add-on gives you full visibility into all 277 discovered scenarios, the difficulty leaderboard, and detailed win probability for each.
Starter ($597/mo) — Full GEO + SEO intelligence cycle, live dashboard, 26 weekly deliverables, daily task verification, and learning engine. You publish the content yourself using the copy buttons in your dashboard. Perfect for businesses with an in-house team or someone who can handle publishing.
Growth ($897/mo) — Everything in Starter, plus RANKARA publishes the blog post to your website, posts the GBP posts automatically, and updates your meta title and schema markup — all after your weekly approval. If you want the intelligence without the publishing overhead, Growth handles it.
Growth clients can have content auto-published to WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, and Shopify. Ghost and other CMS platforms are available on request. For each platform RANKARA publishes the blog post as a draft or live depending on your preference, posts the 3 GBP posts through the Google Business Profile API, and updates meta title and schema via your CMS's API.
RANKARA runs month-to-month. There are no long-term contracts. That said, the compounding nature of GEO and SEO means results build significantly over time — most clients who cancel early do so before the 12-week inflection point where citation wins accelerate. We recommend evaluating at month 3 using the before baseline from your week 1 onboarding brief.
Add-ons are billed monthly on top of your base plan and can be added or removed with 30 days notice. Each add-on integrates directly into your intelligence cycle and dashboard — Elite Intelligence adds the scenario leaderboard tab, Reputation Intelligence adds the Reputation tab, Competitive Intelligence adds the Competitive tab, and so on. You configure each add-on during onboarding and can adjust settings from your account.
After signing your agreement, you complete a short intake form with your business details — name, location, services, competitors, differentiators, and any existing platform credentials. Your first Monday report runs within 7 days.
Week 1 includes an onboarding intelligence brief showing exactly where your business stands before RANKARA starts — your before baseline for measuring progress at month 3. From week 2 onward, the full weekly cycle runs.
For Starter clients: open your dashboard on Monday, review this week's content and deliverables, copy and publish the blog post and GBP posts to your site, implement any quick tasks (typically 30–60 minutes total), and check back throughout the week as tasks are verified.
For Growth clients: review and approve this week's content before it goes live (one click in your dashboard), implement any tasks that require your direct action (CRM updates, directory submissions, review responses), and monitor your dashboard for citation wins and task status.
Most clients spend 1–2 hours per week in their dashboard. The rest is handled by RANKARA.
Intelligence data is stored in a SOC 2 Type II, GDPR-compliant database with encryption at rest. Client configuration is stored in a SOC 2 Type II certified system. CMS credentials and API keys are stored in an encrypted vault — never in code or logs. Each client's data is partitioned by a unique client ID with no cross-client data access. A full security overview is available on request for Enterprise clients at the security overview link in your footer.
For all plans: your business name, city and state, primary service keyword, top 3 competitors, your main differentiator, and your contact email.
For Growth: CMS login credentials (WordPress or equivalent) and Google Business Profile access.
For Enterprise: the above plus CRM credentials (HubSpot or Salesforce), Slack/Teams webhook URLs, and practice area details if applicable.
Everything is collected during onboarding. Most clients are fully configured within 48 hours.
The executive brief is a separate weekly email configured for your CMO, CEO, or any leadership recipient. One page. Plain English — no scores, no jargon, no technical detail. It shows the account health headline, the biggest win this week, the biggest gap, and one specific priority action. Written based on the full week's intelligence but filtered to what a decision-maker needs to know in 60 seconds.
Every Monday RANKARA pushes your Unified Local Authority Score and component scores to your HubSpot or Salesforce record as custom property updates. It also creates an activity entry on the timeline with a full weekly summary so the intelligence lives alongside your pipeline data.
For HubSpot: you provide a private app token and company ID — configuration takes about 5 minutes. For Salesforce: you create custom fields on your Account object and provide your instance URL and OAuth token — about 10 minutes in Setup.
For Slack: create an incoming webhook for your designated channel (about 2 minutes in Slack app settings) and provide the webhook URL. Every Monday RANKARA posts a formatted intelligence card with the account score, citations won, biggest win, and priority action. Rank Watch alerts also fire to Slack the same day when a ranking drop is detected.
Teams works the same way — create an incoming webhook connector in your channel, provide the URL, and RANKARA posts an Adaptive Card every Monday. Both Slack and Teams can be active simultaneously.
Elite Intelligence gives you full visibility into your AI search scenario library — typically 277 scenarios discovered for your business. Of these, 20 are actively tracked each week based on opportunity and competition. The Elite tab in your dashboard shows the full scenario leaderboard with cited/uncited status, difficulty rating, and win probability for each. You also get a monthly Elite strategy brief and citation source analysis showing which content types and platforms are driving wins.
You provide a list of customer email addresses. Every Monday RANKARA sends personalized review request emails to customers on the list — each one written to naturally reflect the themes that matter most for your AI citation profile. The emails feel genuine and personal, not templated. RANKARA tracks how many reviews result and shows conversion rate over time.
Each additional location runs its own independent GEO + SEO intelligence cycle — separate citation profile, rankings, authority score, dashboard, and weekly deliverables. You configure each location with its name, city, address, primary keyword, and optional Google Place ID. Cross-location insights identify your weakest market each week and surface shared citation opportunities that benefit multiple locations.
A lightweight daily check runs for your primary keyword and local pack position. When your ranking drops below your configured threshold, an alert fires the same day — not the following Monday. Each alert includes a diagnostic explaining the most likely cause: page speed drop, competitor content published, algorithm update, or content freshness decay. You are never left wondering why it happened.
